Historical Curator at the Stanford Medical History Center. I have taught California history in Stanford's continuing studies program, and guest lectured on the social history of medicine for classes in Stanford's Departments of History, Art History, and French and Italian, as well as at Stanford's School of Medicine. I participate in public history projects, such as contributing to the National Park Service's theme study on LGBTQ history.  My interests in social history focus on the United States and Italy, and include: race and racism, immigration and citizenship, gender and sexuality, capital and labor, and imperialism.
