David Cutler advises The Gator, the award-winning student news site of Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and frequently presents about high school student journalism at national scholastic journalism conferences. He has also written about student publications and education for Edutopia, The Huffington Post, The Atlantic, KQED, Well-Schooled, C:JET (the quarterly magazine of the Journalism Education Association), and the National Association of Independent Schools. Cutler earned both his B.A. in History (with minors in Latin American Studies and Journalism) and his M.A. in History from Brandeis University, where he rose to the position of News Editor at The Justice, the student newspaper there.
