Solomon Gardner is a rising sophomore at the Collegiate School in New York City. Having had professional experiences at the Historic Hudson Valley Research Library, Democracy International, New School University, and Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, he is most interested in the intersection between social movements and the advancement of social rights as a result of those movements. Most recently, Solomon was awarded "Outstanding Project on Black American History" for an essay he'd written for the National History Day competition. He hopes to one day research, write and teach history at the collegiate level.
