I have done my doctorate and post-graduation in Modern and Contemporary History from Centre of Advanced Study, Department of History, Aligarh Muslim University which is recognized internationally for the Aligarh School of Historiography. My research topic was “Medicine and Encounter of Cultures” in the South East Asia context which elaborated from ancient medicine to modern medicine. As I am a medical historian my recent research area is related to my field of interest i.e. History of medicine in Fiji and early diseases seen by European in Fiji. After coming to Fiji.
