I teach our research methods class for sophomores, and usually include a lesson on "predatory reading" or how to get through books and articles efficiently, as well as how to annotate and take notes on readings. Does anyone have any "best practices" for reading an online e-book? I avoid them whenever possible because I don't know how to navigate them as easily as a book, and find note-taking prohibitively time-consuming. Any thoughts? Thanks.
