    Hello all,

I just wanted to pass along an announcement of something that just came to our attention:

The UC Berkeley History Social Science Project is hosting a conference, "Teaching History: Fostering Historical Thinking across the K-16 Continuum," with Simo Mikkonen of the University of Jyvaskyla, the UCB History Graduate Student Pedagogy Group, and the Department of History at UC Berkeley. The central goal of the conference is to encourage dialogue among educators and scholars across the K-16 continuum about how to develop strategies and lessons which instill the types of skills that enable historical thinking in the classroom and beyond.

    Here's a
link to the conference website, a Facebook post, as well as the Call for Proposals which include the details of the conference as well as information about submitting proposals.

    Kind regards,
    Emily
