Teaching and Learning History

Hi Everyone,

The deadline for AHA teaching prizes is fast approaching, and we can use your help to spread the word.  This year we're offering several awards for teaching at all levels--primary, secondary, post secondary, 2-year, and 4-year schools.  Please see below for a listing of the AHA's Teaching Prizes, and click on the links for details. Please consider nominating a colleague and pass this along to others who might be interested.

• The Eugene Asher Award for distinguished postsecondary history teaching
• The Beveridge Family Teaching Prize for distinguished K-12 history teaching
• The Nancy Lyman Roelker Mentorship Award for teachers of history who taught, guided, and inspired their students in a way that changed their lives
• The William and Edwyna Gilbert Award for the best article on teaching history
